Description

Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XR50 Thermal Riflescope

The Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XR50 Thermal Riflescope combines advanced thermal imaging technology with a powerful integrated laser rangefinder, Full HD AMOLED display and a durable magnesium alloy housing.

Designed for demanding field applications, the Trail 3 LRF XR50 offers detailed thermal observation during daylight, darkness and challenging weather conditions. Its compact monoblock construction, intuitive controls and advanced imaging capabilities make it a premium addition to Pulsar’s thermal riflescope range.

High-Resolution 640×480 Thermal Imaging

At the heart of the Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XR50 is a high-performance 640×480 uncooled thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch.

With a sensor NETD below 30mK and system NETD below 18mK, the riflescope is designed to reveal subtle temperature differences in challenging environments.

This thermal sensitivity helps produce detailed images when observing landscapes, vegetation and wildlife in low-contrast conditions.

The 50Hz refresh rate delivers smooth thermal imagery when scanning across an area or observing moving subjects.

Powerful 50mm F1.0 Objective Lens

The Trail 3 LRF XR50 features a 50mm F1.0 objective lens, offering an effective combination of thermal detail and long-distance observation.

With a detection range of up to 2,300 metres for a deer-sized object, the riflescope provides extensive thermal detection capability across open terrain.

Its 3–24× magnification range allows users to adjust the displayed image to suit different observation distances.

The horizontal field of view measures 8.8°, equivalent to approximately 15.4 metres at 100 metres.

Detection figures are manufacturer ratings; actual performance depends on conditions and the subject.

Integrated 1,200m Laser Rangefinder

The Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XR50 includes an integrated laser rangefinder capable of measuring distances up to 1,200 metres, with manufacturer-specified accuracy of ±1 metre.

The rangefinder supports individual distance measurements and continuous scanning.

An integrated ballistic calculator and compatibility with Stream Vision Ballistics provide additional digital functionality.

Full HD AMOLED Display

A 1920×1080 AMOLED display delivers a clear, high-contrast viewing experience.

The Trail 3 LRF XR50 includes adjustable display settings and multiple thermal colour palettes, allowing the image presentation to be adapted to different surroundings and viewing preferences.

Its Picture-in-Picture feature provides a magnified view within a separate on-screen window while retaining the wider thermal scene.

Compact and Robust Construction

The Trail 3 LRF XR50 uses a durable magnesium alloy housing designed for demanding outdoor use.

Its compact monoblock design incorporates ergonomic controls and a multi-point Pulsar mounting prism.

The IP67 protection rating provides resistance to dust and temporary water immersion under the relevant test conditions.

The specified operating temperature range extends from -25°C to +50°C.

Long Battery Runtime

Power is supplied by a removable Pulsar LPS7i rechargeable battery pack, rated at 6,400mAh.

Pulsar specifies up to 11 hours of operating time at 22°C, depending on feature usage and operating conditions.

USB Type-C external power support offers additional flexibility.

Built-In Video Recording and Connectivity

The Pulsar Trail 3 LRF XR50 incorporates a built-in photo and video recorder with 64GB internal storage.

Images and recordings can be captured at 1440×1080 resolution, with support for JPG photographs and MP4 video.

Recoil-activated recording and shadow recording features offer convenient ways to capture activity.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity support Pulsar’s compatible applications, including Stream Vision 2 and Stream Vision Ballistics.
