Description
Nocpix Quest L35R Thermal Binoculars
The Nocpix Quest L35R brings thermal observation and distance measurement together in a familiar binocular design. It combines two-eye viewing with an integrated laser rangefinder, helping you observe your surroundings without switching between separate devices.
Sensitive thermal imaging
A 384 × 288 thermal sensor with 12µm pixels works alongside a 35mm F0.9 objective lens. Thermal sensitivity of ≤15mK helps reveal small temperature differences, while the 60Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing.
The 5x base magnification provides a close view of your subject. Its field of view covers approximately 13 × 10 metres at 100 metres, making viewing distance an important consideration when comparing models.
Detection and distance measurement
The Nocpix Quest L35R has a stated thermal detection range of up to 1,800 metres. Detection means noticing a heat source; it does not guarantee identification at that distance. Subject size, weather and surrounding conditions affect the detail available.
An integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,000 metres, keeping observation and measurement within the same device.
Display and onboard storage
A 1920 × 1200 display presents the thermal image, while 64GB of internal storage provides space for recorded observations. This gives you the option to keep footage for later review alongside your field notes.
Power and outdoor construction
The dual-battery design combines a built-in battery with a replaceable 18650 battery. A full-rubber coating provides a familiar grip, and the IP67-rated housing offers protection against dust and water.
Choosing your thermal binoculars
Consider base magnification, field of view and sensor resolution together when choosing a model. Higher magnification gives a closer view, while a wider field of view can make it easier to survey a larger area.
