Nocpix Bolt H50R Thermal Imaging Scope

The Nocpix Bolt H50R combines detailed thermal imaging with an integrated laser rangefinder and onboard recording. Its 50mm objective lens and 3x base magnification provide a starting point for viewing, with digital zoom extending the magnification to 24x.

Sensitive thermal imaging

A 640 × 512 sensor with 12µm pixels and thermal sensitivity of ≤18mK helps distinguish small temperature differences. The 50mm F1.0 lens works alongside a 60Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing.

Nocpix’s Reality+ image processing enhances detail and reduces image noise. Thermal imaging works by detecting heat differences, allowing observation without visible illumination.

Detection and distance measurement

The Nocpix Bolt H50R has a stated detection range of up to 2,600 metres. This represents detecting a heat source, rather than positively identifying it at that distance. Weather, subject size and surrounding conditions affect the detail available.

The built-in laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,200 metres, keeping distance measurement within the scope.

Display and recording

A 1024 × 768 display presents the thermal image. Built-in 64GB storage supports photographs and video recordings, while Wi-Fi connectivity provides app connection.

Recording gives you a way to retain observations for later review, without relying solely on notes made during your time outdoors.

Dual-battery power

The power system combines a built-in 5,000mAh battery with a replaceable 18650 battery. Nocpix specifies up to nine hours of operation for the H50R, with actual runtime depending on settings and conditions.

The IP67-rated housing provides protection against dust and water.
