Nocpix Mate H38R Thermal Clip-On Attachment
The Nocpix Mate H38R provides thermal imaging in a front attachment designed for compatible daytime optics. It combines a sensitive thermal sensor, integrated laser rangefinder and recording features in a compact unit.
Detailed thermal imaging
A 640 × 512 thermal sensor with 12µm pixels and sensitivity of ≤15mK helps distinguish small temperature differences. The 38mm F1.0 objective lens works alongside a 60Hz refresh rate for smooth viewing.
The field of view covers approximately 20.5 × 15.4 metres at 100 metres. This provides a useful reference when comparing viewing coverage between different thermal attachments.
Detection and distance measurement
The Nocpix Mate H38R has a stated detection range of up to 1,950 metres. Detection means noticing a heat source rather than positively identifying it at that distance. Weather, surroundings and subject size influence the detail available.
Its built-in laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,200 metres, bringing thermal viewing and distance information together.
AMOLED display and recording
A 1920 × 1080 AMOLED display presents the thermal image. Built-in 64GB storage supports photographs and video recordings, allowing you to retain observations for later review.
Wi-Fi and app support provide connectivity, while the onboard gallery offers access to saved recordings.
Replaceable battery power
The H38R uses a replaceable 18650 battery, with a stated maximum runtime of four hours at 22°C. Actual battery life depends on conditions and use of features such as Wi-Fi and the rangefinder.
Weighing 457g including the battery, the attachment has an IP67 protection rating against dust and water.
