Nocpix Bolt P25R Thermal Imaging Scope
The Nocpix Bolt P25R brings thermal observation, laser rangefinding and recording together in a single device. Its 25mm objective lens and 3.5x base magnification provide the starting view, with digital zoom extending magnification to 14x.
Thermal imaging without visible illumination
A 256 × 192 thermal sensor with 12µm pixels detects temperature differences to create an image. Thermal sensitivity of ≤20mK helps distinguish small variations, while the 50Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing.
The 25mm F1.0 lens provides a field of view covering approximately 12.3 × 9.2 metres at 100 metres. This is a useful comparison point when choosing between models for different surroundings.
Detection and distance measurement
The Nocpix Bolt P25R has a stated detection range of up to 1,300 metres. This describes detecting a heat source, rather than positively identifying it at that distance. Weather, subject size and surrounding conditions affect the detail you can see.
An integrated laser rangefinder measures distances up to 1,200 metres, keeping distance measurement within the scope.
Display and onboard recording
A 1024 × 768 display presents the thermal image. Built-in 64GB storage supports photographs and video recordings, with a gallery for reviewing saved material.
Wi-Fi connectivity provides app connection, offering another way to access the device’s connected features.
Flexible power and outdoor construction
The dual-power system combines a built-in rechargeable battery with a replaceable 18650 battery. Carrying a spare provides flexibility during longer periods outdoors.
An aluminium alloy housing and IP67 protection rating provide protection against dust and water.
