Description
ThermTec Cyclops 335 SE Thermal Imaging Monocular
The ThermTec Cyclops 335 SE is a handheld thermal monocular designed for wildlife watching and countryside observation. Its 384×288 sensor and 35mm F1.0 objective lens provide detailed thermal viewing, while the ergonomic body supports comfortable one-handed use.
Whether observing open fields or watching activity along woodland edges, it offers a convenient way to explore your surroundings during daylight and darkness.
35mm lens for detailed observation
The Cyclops 335 SE provides 3.3× base magnification, with continuous digital zoom available to enlarge the displayed image. This allows you to move from a general view to a closer look without changing devices.
The manufacturer specifies detection up to 1,800 metres. Actual performance depends on conditions and subject size, and detection range should not be confused with the distance at which an animal can be identified.
Sensitive thermal imaging
The 12μm detector helps reveal temperature differences between wildlife and the surrounding landscape. Thermal imaging works without visible illumination, making the monocular useful for observation after sunset.
ThermTec’s AI calibration technology is designed to maintain image stability as environmental conditions change. Automatic and manual calibration options provide flexibility during use.
Clear AMOLED viewing
A 0.39-inch AMOLED display with 1024×768 resolution presents the thermal image through the eyepiece. Six colour palettes allow you to choose a presentation that suits the scene and your preferences.
Forest, Target and Outline modes provide further viewing options. Picture-in-picture is also available when you want an enlarged view of part of the scene while retaining the main image.
Comfortable joystick operation
The ThermTec Cyclops 335 SE uses a joystick control designed for one-handed operation. Its rounded body provides a familiar handheld shape that is convenient to carry between observation points.
The control layout brings the main functions together, helping users navigate settings without a large collection of separate buttons.
Record and revisit wildlife encounters
Built-in photo and video recording let you save observations to the 64GB internal memory. This is useful for reviewing an encounter afterwards or keeping a visual record of activity across different outings.
App connectivity adds wireless control options, while USB-C supports charging and data transfer. Saved footage can be transferred for viewing and sharing later.
Battery life for longer outings
The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery system offers a manufacturer-rated runtime of up to 16 hours. Actual operating time varies with temperature, settings and use of wireless or recording functions.
IP67-rated protection supports outdoor use in dusty or wet conditions, making the monocular a practical companion for regular countryside observation.
