Description
The Axion 2 XQ35 Pro features a 384×288, 17µm, <25 mK NETD thermal sensor, powerful 35mm f1.0 germanium objective lens, improved image quality, and an extended operation time of up to 11 hours on a single charge. With a wide range of features packed into the Axion’s signature compact and lightweight design, this thermal imaging monocular is easy to grip and can be comfortably operated no matter whether the user is right- or left-handed thanks to the symmetrical design and ergonomically considered button arrangement.
Precise Distance Measurements
LRF models feature a built-in precision laser rangefinder, providing crucial data that allows you to ascertain the distance between you and your observed object or animal at a range of up to 1000m (depending on model), with an accuracy of ±1m. These LRFs provide better situational awareness and allow for informed decision making in the field.
Stream Vision 2 compatible
Each Axion 2 model is compatible with Pulsar’s free Stream Vision 2 app. This enables a connection between your device and your smartphone or tablet and unlocks a wide range of connectivity features, including:
The ability to use your phone as a second screen, making these devices perfect for group observations without having to take turns through the viewfinder.
The ability to use your phone as a remote control, enabling remote operation of all digital functions for those instances where a hands-off approach is required.
Providing a gallery of images and videos captured on the device, so you can watch back what you’ve recorded and even share your favourite moments with friends or to social media.
Rugged and durable magnesium alloy design
Axion 2 thermal imaging monoculars all feature a robust magnesium alloy construction, protecting the device against the bumps and knocks that occur during everyday use, as well dust and moisture ingress. Their IPX7 rating also ensures each monocular will remain operational in adverse weather and extreme temperatures.
3 sensitivity amplification levels and advanced image processing algorithms
Each device in the Axion 2 series offers 3 adjustable sensitivity amplification levels, which, in conjunction with Pulsar’s advanced filtration algorithms and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, allow for optimised rendering of an observed object and the background behind them. These sensitivity settings and image processing algorithms will allow for quick adjustment to varying weather conditions, increasing the likelihood of early detection in ever-changing scenarios.
Up to 11 hours of battery life
The Axion 2 features a high-capacity APS5 battery pack that will offer up to 11 hours of power before a recharge is needed (depending on temperature), making it perfect for prolonged periods of observation. Removing and replacing the battery is possible in only a matter of seconds due to the intuitive design, and recharging is as simple as placing the battery into its charging dock or plugging it directly into a PC or household power system via a USB-C cable.
