The Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Pro is a compact handheld thermal monocular for wildlife watching and countryside observation. Its 384×288 sensor and 35mm F1.0 objective lens provide detailed thermal viewing in a body that is convenient to carry between observation points.

The symmetrical design and accessible button arrangement support comfortable operation with either hand, making it suitable for regular use during walks and longer outdoor sessions.

Sensitive thermal imaging

The 17μm sensor offers thermal sensitivity below 25mK NETD, helping distinguish subtle temperature differences between wildlife and the surrounding landscape. This is useful when subjects and backgrounds have similar temperatures.

Thermal imaging enables observation without visible illumination. Whether checking a field after sunset or watching activity along a woodland edge, the monocular provides a different perspective on the scene.

35mm lens and flexible magnification

The 35mm F1.0 lens provides 2× base magnification, with digital zoom extending the viewing range to 8×. This allows you to move from a broad view to an enlarged image as required.

The manufacturer specifies detection up to 1,300 metres. Actual performance depends on subject size and conditions, and detection distance should not be confused with the distance at which an animal can be identified.

The Pulsar Axion 2 XQ35 Pro offers adjustable sensitivity amplification alongside brightness and contrast controls. These settings allow you to adapt the displayed image to changing backgrounds and weather conditions.

Stream Vision 2 connectivity links the monocular with a compatible smartphone or tablet. A connected mobile device can act as a second viewing screen, allowing others to share the experience without taking turns through the eyepiece.

The app also supports remote operation of digital functions and access to recorded images and videos.

Replaceable rechargeable battery

The APS5 rechargeable battery offers up to 11 hours of operation, depending on temperature and use. Its removable design allows a depleted battery to be exchanged for a charged spare during longer outings.

Charging is available through the appropriate charging dock or USB-C connection, providing convenient options between trips.

Durable magnesium alloy body

The magnesium alloy housing provides a robust structure for everyday outdoor use. IPX7 water protection helps the monocular withstand wet conditions, while its compact shape keeps it convenient to pack and carry.
