PIXFRA Mile 2 M207 Compact Thermal Imaging Monocular

The PIXFRA Mile 2 M207 is a compact and lightweight thermal imaging monocular designed for close-to-medium-range observation, wildlife watching, gamekeeping, pest detection and general countryside use.

Featuring a 256×192 12µm thermal sensor, fast 7mm F1.0 objective lens and an exceptionally wide 24° field of view, the Mile 2 M207 makes it easy to scan large areas and quickly locate heat sources in complete darkness.

Weighing approximately 270g, the M207 is small enough to carry comfortably in a pocket or pouch, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a convenient and affordable handheld thermal monocular.

256×192 12µm Thermal Sensor

The PIXFRA Mile 2 M207 uses a 256×192 resolution thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch and <35mK NETD.

The sensor detects small differences in temperature and converts them into a visible thermal image, allowing animals and other heat sources to be located during the day or at night.

A 50Hz frame rate provides smooth thermal imaging when scanning across an area or observing moving wildlife.

Ultra-Wide 24° Field of View

One of the biggest advantages of the Mile 2 M207 is its exceptionally wide field of view.

The 7mm F1.0 objective lens provides a 24° × 18° field of view, equivalent to approximately 43.9m × 32.9m at 100 metres.

This wide viewing area makes the M207 particularly effective for scanning relatively close areas such as:

The M207 has a low 1.1x base magnification, helping maintain its exceptionally wide viewing area.

Digital magnification of 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x allows a detected heat source to be examined more closely when required.

Built-In Photo & Video Recording

The PIXFRA Mile 2 M207 includes 16GB of built-in storage and can capture both thermal photographs and video.

This allows interesting observations to be recorded directly through the monocular without requiring a separate recording device.

The M207 also includes hot-spot tracking and video distance measurement functionality.

Wi-Fi & PIXFRA App Connectivity

Built-in Wi-Fi allows the M207 to connect to a compatible smartphone or tablet using the PIXFRA app.

The Wi-Fi system supports connection to up to four smart devices, allowing the thermal image to be shared with several people at the same time.

This can be particularly useful for wildlife observation, surveys and situations where more than one person needs to see the thermal image.

Up to 9.5 Hours Battery Life

A built-in rechargeable lithium battery provides up to approximately 9.5 hours of operating time at 25°C under the manufacturer’s stated conditions.
