Description

The Pixfra Draco D225-4K brings thermal imaging, full-colour daytime viewing, digital night vision and distance measurement together in one handheld binocular. It offers several ways to examine a scene without carrying separate devices for each function.

For wildlife observation and countryside monitoring, the thermal and digital channels provide complementary information: heat differences through one channel, and visible detail through the other.

  • 1920×1080 OLED display.
  • Built-in laser rangefinder rated to 1,000 metres.
  • Photo and video recording.
  • 64GB internal storage.

Thermal and Digital Observation

The thermal channel reveals temperature differences between subjects and their surroundings. It can operate in darkness without relying on visible light.

The separate digital channel provides full-colour daytime viewing and digital night vision. Automatic day/night switching responds to changing ambient light, while a detachable IR illuminator supports digital viewing after dark.

Visibility and image detail depend on conditions. Thermal imaging does not guarantee identification through dense vegetation, rain or fog.

Distance Information in One Device

The integrated laser rangefinder provides distance readings without requiring a separate handheld instrument. Its specified maximum range is 1,000 metres.

Actual ranging performance depends on the object and surrounding conditions. Reflectivity, size and visibility can all affect whether a reading is obtained.

Comfortable Viewing and Accessible Controls

The Pixfra Draco D225-4K uses a binocular viewing arrangement with foldable eyecups. A multifunction control wheel and four-button layout keep commonly used functions within reach.

Adjust the eyepieces to suit your eyes before observing. A comfortable viewing position is particularly useful when watching a location for longer periods.

Record and Review Your Observations

Save photographs and video to the built-in 64GB memory for later review. Wi-Fi connectivity and the compatible Pixfra app provide supported mobile functions.

Recordings can help you compare activity across visits or share observations without relying on memory alone.

Power and Further Information

Rechargeable, replaceable batteries let you prepare spare power for longer outings. Battery life varies with temperature and the use of features such as Wi-Fi and infrared illumination.
