PARD Pantera 256 Q Thermal Imaging Scope
The PARD Pantera 256 Q is a compact thermal imaging scope with the familiar shape of a traditional daytime optic. Its aluminium alloy housing fits 30mm mounting rings, while the side focus control and buttons of different heights make the controls easier to distinguish by touch.
Thermal sensor and OLED display
A 256 × 192 thermal sensor with a 12µm pixel pitch works alongside a 25mm objective lens. Thermal sensitivity of ≤25mK and a 50Hz refresh rate are complemented by a 1024 × 768 OLED display.
The scope provides 3.6x base magnification, with selectable digital zoom. Its advertised detection distance is up to 1,200 metres; detection does not mean that an object can be positively identified at that distance.
Recording and connectivity
Built-in 32GB eMMC memory stores photographs and video without a separate memory card. Wi-Fi connectivity supports the PardVision2 app, and a USB-C connection provides an external power option.
Battery power and construction
The PARD Pantera 256 Q uses one 18650 lithium-ion battery, with a stated operating time of up to six hours. Actual runtime depends on conditions and use. The IP67-rated housing and 490g weight, including the battery, complete its compact specification.
