HIKMICRO T16 4G Trail Camera

The HIKMICRO T16 Trail Camera is an advanced 4G wildlife camera designed for remote wildlife monitoring, game management, estate use and outdoor observation.

Featuring a unique Dual-FOV system with selectable 60° and ultra-wide 100° viewing angles, the T16 can be configured for focused monitoring of individual trails and feeding areas or switched to a wider view when greater area coverage is required.

A fast 0.4-second trigger speed, dual PIR detection, up to 25m detection range, 24MP photo output and Full HD 1080p video help capture activity day and night.

Integrated 4G connectivity allows photos and video to be transmitted remotely through the HIKMICRO Sight App, while 64GB of built-in storage removes the need for a separate SD card.

4G Remote Wildlife Monitoring

The HIKMICRO T16 incorporates 4G cellular connectivity, allowing captured photos and videos to be transmitted remotely.

An embedded SIM is built into the camera, while data plans can be managed through the HIKMICRO Sight App.

Rather than repeatedly visiting the camera to remove a memory card, users can remotely monitor activity and manage compatible camera functions through their smartphone.

This makes the T16 particularly useful for cameras positioned on remote gamekeeping, farming, estate and wildlife-monitoring sites.

Selectable 60° & 100° Dual Field of View

One of the standout features of the HIKMICRO T16 is its innovative Dual-FOV lens system.

The camera can be switched between:

60° Field of View – ideal for more focused monitoring of trails, gateways, feeding areas and specific locations.

100° Ultra-Wide Field of View – provides substantially wider coverage when monitoring larger areas.

This flexibility allows a single trail camera to be adapted to different locations rather than having a fixed viewing angle.

Dual PIR Detection & 0.4-Second Trigger

The T16 features dual PIR sensors designed to provide effective motion detection while helping reduce unwanted triggers caused by environmental interference.

When movement is detected, the camera has a fast 0.4-second trigger speed, helping capture wildlife as it moves through the monitored area.

The PIR detection system operates at distances of up to approximately 25 metres under suitable conditions.

Up to 24MP Photo Capture

The T16 uses a 6MP native image sensor and supports high-resolution photo output of up to 24MP.

During daylight, the camera captures colour images. At night it automatically switches to black-and-white infrared imaging.

Burst capture can be configured to record 1, 2 or 3 photographs per detection, increasing the opportunity to capture a useful image when wildlife moves through the monitored area.

Full HD 1080p Video with Audio

In addition to still photographs, the HIKMICRO T16 records video at up to 1920×1080 Full HD resolution.

Available recording options include:

• 1080p – up to 10 seconds
• 720p – up to 20 seconds
• WVGA – up to 30 seconds

Integrated audio recording allows sound to be captured alongside video footage.

Discreet 940nm Infrared Night Vision

The T16 uses two 940nm infrared LEDs for night-time illumination.

The discreet infrared system enables the camera to record black-and-white images and video in darkness while minimising visible disturbance around the monitoring location.

This makes the T16 particularly suitable for monitoring nocturnal wildlife and activity around game and wildlife areas.

Built-In 64GB Storage

Unlike many conventional trail cameras, the HIKMICRO T16 includes 64GB of built-in EMMC storage.

There’s no requirement to purchase and install a separate SD memory card.

Images and video can be stored locally while compatible media can also be transmitted through the camera’s 4G connection.

HIKMICRO Sight App

The HIKMICRO Sight App provides remote access to compatible T16 functions.

Depending on the configured data plan and connection, users can:

Wi-Fi Preview for Easier Installation

When installing the T16, Wi-Fi connectivity provides a convenient preview through a compatible smartphone.

This makes it easier to check exactly what the camera can see before leaving it unattended.

Correct camera positioning is particularly important with trail cameras, and live preview can help avoid discovering later that the camera was aimed too high, too low or away from the intended monitoring area.

Flexible Battery Options

The HIKMICRO T16 is available in versions designed for either:

• 12 × standard AA batteries
• 4 × rechargeable 18650 batteries

An external 12V/2A DC power input is also provided.

This flexibility allows the most appropriate power arrangement to be selected according to how and where the camera will be deployed.

Battery requirements vary according to the particular T16 version purchased.

Solar Power Option

For longer-term remote installations, the T16 is compatible with the HIKMICRO SP5000 Solar Panel.

A suitable solar setup can help reduce the frequency with which batteries need to be changed, making it particularly useful for cameras installed in remote locations.
