HIKMICRO Stellar SH35L 3.0 LRF Thermal Scope

The HIKMICRO Stellar SH35L 3.0 is a thermal imaging riflescope combining detailed heat detection, integrated laser ranging and onboard recording. Its traditional 30mm tube format brings these features together in a familiar scope design, with controls and display settings that can be adjusted for different viewing conditions.

Sensitive 384 × 288 thermal imaging

A 384 × 288 thermal detector with a 12μm pixel pitch captures temperature differences across the scene. Thermal sensitivity below 15mK helps distinguish subtle differences between animals and their surroundings, while the 35mm F1.0 lens provides a stated detection range of up to 1,800 metres.

Detection range describes the ability to detect a heat source; recognising detail depends on the subject, conditions and distance. The 50Hz refresh rate supports fluid viewing as the scene changes.

Clear OLED display and adjustable magnification

The 1.03-inch OLED display has a resolution of 2560 × 2560, providing a detailed view through the eyepiece. Magnification ranges from 4.2× to 24.2×, allowing the user to adjust the displayed image for different observation distances.

Six colour palettes include White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, Red Monochrome and Green Monochrome. Adjustable brightness, contrast and warm or cold image tones provide further control over viewing comfort.

HIKMICRO’s Shutterless Image System helps reduce routine calibration interruptions during observation. Picture-in-picture adds a magnified inset while retaining the surrounding view.

Integrated 1000m laser rangefinder

The HIKMICRO Stellar SH35L 3.0 incorporates a Class 1 laser rangefinder with a measurement range from 10 to 1,000 metres and stated accuracy of ±1 metre. This provides distance information directly through the scope without needing a separate handheld rangefinder.

Record and review your observations

Built-in video recording, snapshots and audio capture allow you to save observations to the scope’s 64GB internal memory. Recoil-activated recording is also supported, alongside local playback and hotspot connectivity.

These recording options make it convenient to keep footage for later review without adding a separate camera.

Battery power and weather protection

Two internal rechargeable batteries work alongside a replaceable rechargeable 18650 battery. HIKMICRO specifies nine hours of continuous operation at 25°C with Zoom Pro and the laser rangefinder switched on. Actual runtime varies with conditions and use.

The scope weighs approximately 830g without the external battery and has an IP67 protection rating. Its operating temperature range is -30°C to 55°C, and the standard 30mm tube accommodates compatible mounting rings.
