Description
Guide TE211M Mini Thermal Monocular
The Guide TE211M Mini Thermal Monocular is a compact handheld spotter for wildlife watching, countryside outings and outdoor observation. Its pocket-sized design makes it easy to keep close at hand, while touchscreen operation provides a convenient way to access the device’s functions.
Thermal imaging reveals temperature differences between subjects and their surroundings, allowing observation in daylight and darkness without an external infrared illuminator.
Thermal imaging in a compact package
A 256 × 192 detector with a 12μm pixel pitch works alongside a 10mm F1.0 lens. The sensor has a stated thermal sensitivity of 30mK, and its 50Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing while scanning the scene.
The listed detection range is up to 500 metres. This refers to detecting a heat source; identifying an animal or recognising fine detail depends on its size, distance and the conditions.
Focus-free operation removes the need to adjust a focusing ring during everyday observation.
AMOLED touchscreen controls
The 1.43-inch AMOLED touchscreen has a resolution of 466 × 466. It combines image viewing and touch controls in a compact interface, helping keep operation straightforward.
A selection of colour palettes lets you choose how temperature differences appear. Switching between palettes can make different parts of the scene easier to interpret, depending on the background and your viewing preferences.
Record photographs, video and sound
The Guide TE211M Mini Thermal Monocular supports photograph capture and video recording with audio. Its 16GB internal memory provides storage for observations you want to review later.
Recording can be useful for keeping a record of wildlife activity or sharing an interesting sighting after an outing. Wi-Fi connectivity and TargetIR app compatibility provide additional options for viewing and sharing saved media.
Rechargeable battery and quick charging
A built-in rechargeable battery keeps the power system contained within the device. Charging takes place through the USB-C connection.
With suitable quick-charging equipment, a ten-minute charge can provide approximately one hour of operation. This makes a short top-up useful when preparing for an evening walk or returning outdoors between sessions.
Actual operating time depends on temperature, settings and how the device is used.
Designed to travel with you
The small body is convenient to carry in a pocket or bag, making the TE211M a practical companion for regular outdoor trips. The supplied wrist strap helps keep it secure during handheld use.
IP67 protection provides resistance to dust and water. This combination of portability, recording and thermal viewing suits users who want an accessible spotter to take along routinely.
