Pulsar Telos LRF XT50 HD Thermal Imaging Monocular

The Pulsar Telos LRF XT50 combines high-resolution thermal imaging with distance measurement in a handheld monocular. Suitable for wildlife watching, countryside observation and land management, it helps you locate heat signatures and examine your surroundings in daylight or darkness.

Its 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor works with a 50mm F1.0 objective lens to deliver a detailed image. The 1920 × 1080 AMOLED display presents the scene clearly, while a 50Hz refresh rate supports smooth viewing as you scan.

Detailed imaging across open ground

The XT50 offers 2–16× magnification, with Zoom Boost extending this to 24×. Start at lower magnification to search a wider area, then increase the zoom when you need a closer look.

A 17.5° horizontal field of view helps you cover open ground efficiently. System thermal sensitivity below 20mK supports the display of subtle temperature differences, helping separate subjects from their surroundings.

Integrated laser rangefinder

The Pulsar Telos LRF XT50 includes a laser rangefinder with a maximum measuring distance of 1,200m and stated accuracy of ±1m. This lets you check distance while keeping the scene in view.

Thermal detection is rated up to 2,300m. Detection describes the ability to notice a heat source; identifying an animal requires more detail and depends on distance, conditions and the subject.

Practical controls for outdoor observation

Separate focusing and zoom rings allow adjustments at the front of the device. The rubberised exterior provides a secure grip, and the ambidextrous design accommodates left- or right-handed use.

Electronic image stabilisation helps reduce visible movement during handheld observation. Together, these features support comfortable scanning during longer sessions outdoors.

Recording and smartphone connectivity

Capture photographs and video with sound using the built-in recorder. Internal storage of 128GB provides space for footage without a separate memory card.

Wi-Fi connectivity and the Stream Vision 2 app let you connect a compatible smartphone for features including image streaming and file transfer. This makes it easier to review observations and share selected recordings afterwards.

Rechargeable power

The removable LPS 7i battery supports USB-C and wireless charging. Rated operating time is up to eight hours at 22°C, with actual runtime varying according to temperature and use.

A replaceable battery also gives you the option of carrying a charged spare for longer outings.
