Description

PULSAR Thermal Imaging Device Telos XT50 LRF
Premium thermal imaging technology for demanding hunting grounds

The Pulsar TELOS LRF XT50 is a premium thermal imaging monocular for demanding hunters and professional users who place particular importance on high image quality, reliable distance measurement and practical operation during extended use in the field. As the flagship model in the upgradeable Telos series, it combines detailed thermal imaging technology, an exceptionally wide field of view and an integrated laser rangefinder in a robust handheld device. This makes it particularly suitable for situations where not only quickly detecting a heat signature but also identifying game with confidence is crucial.

HD thermal sensor for outstanding detail

At its core is the high-resolution HD thermal sensor with 1280 × 1024 pixels and a 12 µm pixel pitch. Combined with a system NETD of 20 mK, a frame rate of 50 Hz and the fast 50 mm F1.0 objective lens, the TELOS LRF XT50 delivers a detailed and stable thermal image. Particularly in challenging weather conditions or where temperature differences are minimal, this high level of detail helps users detect game more effectively at longer distances and identify it with greater confidence. The image is displayed on a high-resolution Full HD AMOLED display with 1920 × 1080 pixels.

Wide field of view and flexible magnification

One of the device’s particular strengths is its 17.5° horizontal field of view, corresponding to a width of 30.7 m at 100 m. This allows a large area to be covered at a glance – a clear advantage when systematically scanning expansive fields, large woodland areas or mountainous terrain. At the same time, the device offers 2–16x magnification, which can be extended to up to 24x with Zoom Boost. The digital zoom ring enables precise adjustment of the magnification, while electronic image stabilisation reduces disruptive image movement, particularly at higher zoom levels.

Reliable observation over long distances

For long-range observation, the Pulsar TELOS LRF XT50 offers a detection range of up to 2,300 m. The integrated laser rangefinder measures distances of up to 1,200 m and can be used for both single measurements and in scan mode. This allows observation and distance measurement to be carried out with a single device, without the need for a separate rangefinder. This is particularly useful in open fields or mountainous terrain, where game first needs to be detected, then identified more precisely and its distance reliably determined. In combination with Stream Vision Ballistics, individual ballistic profiles can be used and the corresponding correction values displayed during distance measurement.

Designed for long observation sessions and stalking

The symmetrical housing of the TELOS LRF XT50 allows comfortable operation with either the right or left hand. The non-slip rubber coating ensures a secure grip even in wet or cold conditions or when wearing gloves – ideal for long observation sessions and extended stalking under changing conditions. Thanks to IPX7 waterproof protection, the thermal imaging device is also designed for use in rain and snow and is protected against temporary immersion in water. Power is supplied by the replaceable LPS 7i Li-Ion battery, providing up to eight hours of operating time. If more runtime is required, the battery can be replaced quickly, allowing observation to continue without a lengthy interruption.

Nine colour palettes and image functions for changing conditions

A wide range of additional image functions is available for different observation situations. Three amplification levels – Normal, High and Ultra – allow the image processing to be adapted to different weather and contrast conditions. In addition, nine colour palettes are available, allowing the thermal image to be adjusted to different observation situations and personal preferences. The Smoothing Filter reduces image noise when thermal contrast is low, while the Picture-in-Picture function displays a magnified detail area without losing the full field of view. Users can also choose between a rounded and circular screen display. Haptic feedback from the controls also makes operation easier, for example when wearing gloves.

Recording, Stream Vision 2 and quick smartphone connection via NFC

With 128 GB of internal storage, the thermal imaging device offers plenty of space for recorded videos and photos. Video recordings can also be saved with sound. Via Stream Vision 2, the TELOS LRF XT50 can be connected to a smartphone, for example for live viewing, remote control, file transfer and firmware updates. Thanks to NFC, connecting is particularly straightforward: when a compatible smartphone is held against the device, connection to the Stream Vision 2 app is initiated automatically. Wi-Fi on the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, Bluetooth and USB Type-C complete the connectivity options.

Upgradeable Telos platform for long-term use

The TELOS LRF XT50 is part of the upgradeable Telos platform and is therefore designed for long-term use. The platform concept enables future component upgrades, meaning the device is not designed solely around the current state of technology. Pulsar therefore combines the premium features of the TELOS LRF XT50 with a concept focused on long-term ownership and the most sustainable possible development of the device over time.

Made in Europe

The Pulsar TELOS LRF XT50 is developed and assembled in the EU.

For hunters who do not want to compromise on observation

The Pulsar TELOS LRF XT50 is aimed primarily at hunters who want to scan large areas efficiently, identify game with confidence even at longer distances and determine the distance directly with the same device. Particularly during intensive hunting, across expansive hunting grounds or during extended periods of observation, the combination of high-resolution HD thermal imaging, a wide field of view, long detection range, precise distance measurement, robust ergonomics and intelligent additional functions demonstrates its strengths.
