Description

ISOtunes Sport DEFY Slim Bluetooth Ear Defenders

ISOtunes Sport DEFY Slim ear defenders combine electronic hearing protection, environmental sound monitoring and Bluetooth connectivity in a slim over-ear design. They are intended for shooting and field sports where hearing protection and awareness of surrounding sounds both matter.

This is the Bluetooth-enabled DEFY Slim model, with wireless audio and a microphone for phone calls.

Tactical Sound Control

Tactical Sound Control uses external microphones to relay surrounding sounds through the ear defenders. Quiet sounds can be amplified, helping you hear conversation and activity nearby while wearing the protection.

The level-dependent circuitry suppresses loud impulse sounds in under two milliseconds, according to ISOtunes. Separate adjustment lets you choose the ambient listening level.

Certified hearing protection

The DEFY Slim has a certified Single Number Rating of 27dB SNR. SafeMax technology limits the audio output to 82dB.

Correct fitting is essential. Follow the supplied instructions and ensure the cushions maintain a proper seal around both ears. Choose hearing protection appropriate to the noise exposure and any requirements at your shooting venue.

Bluetooth calls and audio

Bluetooth 5.0 connects the ear defenders to a compatible device for audio playback and calls. A background noise-reducing microphone helps with voice communication.

The multifunction button provides access to playback, track selection and call handling. Two control wheels allow adjustment of audio volume and Tactical Sound Control without relying solely on your phone.

Slim design and replaceable batteries

The slim ear cups offer a compact profile, with memory foam cushions supplied as standard. Two AAA batteries power the electronics, with manufacturer-stated battery life of up to 25 hours.

IPX4 water resistance provides protection against splashes. The ear defenders should not be submerged.
