The Motorola Talkabout T92 H2O twin pack provides a practical way to keep in touch during outdoor activities. Whether you are walking, camping, fishing or working across an estate, these handheld radios let you exchange quick updates without relying on mobile phone reception.

The yellow and black design is easy to spot among your equipment, while the included carry case keeps the pair together between outings.

Waterproof protection and floating design

An IP67 rating provides protection against dust and temporary immersion in water up to one metre deep for 30 minutes. With the supplied NiMH batteries installed, the radios float, helping make an accidental drop into water easier to recover from.

The integrated torch activates on contact with water to help you locate the radio. For everyday use, choose between white and red lighting modes.

Communication across your group

The Motorola Talkabout T92 offers a maximum range of up to 10km in favourable conditions. Buildings, woodland, hills and other obstacles can reduce the usable distance, so check coverage across your intended area before separating.

There are 16 channels with 121 privacy codes. Easy Pairing helps set compatible radios to the same channel and code, while channel scanning helps you find activity. Privacy codes filter unwanted calls; they do not make conversations encrypted or confidential.

The radios can also communicate with other compatible PMR446 models when their channel and code settings match.

Convenient controls

Hands-free iVOX/VOX operation provides an alternative to pressing the talk button for each message. A backlit display helps you check settings, and the keypad lock reduces accidental changes while carrying the radio.

Choose from 20 call tones or use vibration alerts when an audible tone would be distracting. A battery indicator and low-battery alert help you keep track of remaining power.

Rechargeable batteries and USB-C charging

The supplied rechargeable NiMH battery packs offer up to 17 hours of operation under Motorola’s standard usage test: 5% transmitting, 5% receiving and 90% standby. Actual runtime depends on how you use the radios.

Two USB-C charging cables are included. Standard AA batteries provide an alternative power option, although the radios may not float with some AA batteries fitted.

Alert features

An emergency alert button can send an alert to other radios in your group. Each belt clip also incorporates a whistle. The radio alert is a group communication feature and does not automatically contact emergency services.
