ICOtec HELLION+ Programmable Predator Call

The ICOtec HELLION+ combines a programmable sound library, wireless remote control and Bluetooth connectivity in a portable electronic caller. Supplied with 165 sounds and the GCX+ remote, it provides a choice of playback options for predator calling and field use.

Includes 165 sounds

The preloaded library includes 165 sounds, featuring 15 recordings from Tony Tebbe of Predator University. Having a selection available from the outset lets you explore the library before adding further recordings.

The included 32GB SD card supports storage for up to 2,000 sounds. This gives you room to build and organise a collection around your preferences without replacing the caller.

GCX+ remote control

The supplied GCX+ remote has a stated operating range of up to 300 yards without requiring direct line of sight. Actual range depends on terrain, obstructions and operating conditions.

Its large display offers day and night viewing options. Sound categories help organise the library, while two favourites banks hold up to 20 sounds for convenient access.

Separate playback controls allow two sounds to run simultaneously. A dedicated coax-sound function provides another accessible playback option.

Bluetooth and app connectivity

The ICOtec HELLION+ also supports Bluetooth connectivity with a stated range of up to 100 yards. Compatibility with the Animal Audio app on iOS and Android provides additional sound-library and playback options.

You can expand the collection using compatible sound files. The caller supports .aaf and .wav formats, including 16-bit, 24-bit and 32-bit WAV files.

An SD card reader or suitable OTG adapter can assist with transferring files from a smartphone. These accessories are sold separately.

Practical design for outdoor use

An elevated front end helps project sound above low ground cover. The hinged antenna has a metal swivel base, while a brass threaded insert allows mounting on a compatible tripod.

A Mini-USB to USB cable is included for sound-file downloading, along with an auxiliary cable for synchronising the GCX+ remote.

These features bring sound management, remote operation and supported placement together in one system.

Battery requirements

The caller requires four AA batteries, and the remote requires another four AA batteries. Batteries are not included, so you will need eight suitable AA batteries before using the system.
