Hotline Gemini 40 Electric Fence Energiser

The Hotline Gemini 40 Electric Fence Energiser is a versatile dual-power electric fencing unit designed to provide reliable performance for a range of agricultural, livestock and countryside fencing applications.

Part of Hotline’s established Gemini range, the Gemini 40 offers the flexibility of operating from either a 12V battery or mains power with the appropriate power supply, making it a practical choice for electric fencing systems where flexibility and dependable everyday performance are important.

Suitable for more demanding applications than small portable energisers, the Gemini 40 can be used as part of permanent or semi-permanent electric fencing installations for farms, paddocks, gamekeeping and land management.

Dual-Power Electric Fence Energiser

One of the main advantages of the Hotline Gemini 40 is its flexible power arrangement.

The energiser can be operated from a 12V battery, making it suitable for locations where a mains electricity supply is unavailable. Where a suitable mains supply is available, the unit can also be operated using the appropriate mains power adapter.

This makes the Gemini 40 particularly useful where fencing requirements or power availability may change throughout the year.

Electric Fencing for Agriculture & Countryside Use

The Hotline Gemini 40 is suitable for a range of electric fencing applications and provides a useful step up from small, low-powered temporary fence energisers.

It can form part of an electric fencing system used for applications such as:

• Agricultural electric fencing
• Livestock management
• Paddock fencing
• Farm fencing
• Gamekeeping and countryside management
• Permanent and semi-permanent electric fences
• Temporary fencing where greater performance is required

The performance of any electric fencing system will depend on factors including total fence length, vegetation, conductor type, number of fence lines and the quality of the earthing system.

Reliable Hotline Electric Fencing

Hotline is an established UK electric fencing manufacturer with a wide range of energisers and electric fencing accessories.

The Gemini 40 combines flexible power options with a robust design suitable for regular agricultural and countryside use.

For the best performance, the energiser should be installed with a suitable earthing system and correctly matched fencing conductors, insulators and accessories.

Choosing the Correct Electric Fence Energiser

Choosing an energiser should be based on the actual fence rather than simply the physical size of the unit.

Consider:

• Total length of the electric fence
• Number of electrified strands
• Type of fencing conductor
• Amount of vegetation likely to contact the fence
• Animals being contained or excluded
• Quality of the earth system
• Availability of mains or battery power
• Whether the fence is permanent or temporary

A correctly specified energiser combined with good-quality fencing components and effective earthing will provide substantially better performance than choosing an energiser based solely on theoretical maximum fence length.
